Modern technology and structure
The Defro Firewood Plus 15 kW natural draft boiler impresses with its compact, solid boiler body and state-of-the-art gasification technology for logs. Thanks to its space-saving design, the boiler can be installed even in confined boiler rooms.
Performance and efficiency
With a nominal heat output of 15 kW and an efficiency of 92.4%, the Firewood Plus converts logs into heat particularly efficiently. The low flue gas temperature of 142 °C and the low CO content meet the strict requirements of the German Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BlmSchV2).
As a natural draft gasifier, the boiler offers a sustainable and crisis-proof heat source that can also be ideally combined with heat pumps or other renewable heating systems.
Safety and control system
The integrated electronic flue controller automatically controls the primary air supply, ensuring consistently clean combustion. Optionally, the boiler circuit pump and induced draft fan can be connected to the same control system.
A factory-installed safety heat exchanger allows operation in a closed heating system without the need for complex double thermal discharge protection. A sight glass is also integrated for visual monitoring of the carburetor flame.
Comfort and assembly
The secondary air adjustment is possible on both sides of the boiler inlet, ensuring close-to-wall installation without sacrificing space. Installation is optionally carried out by our nationwide customer service.
Delivery to the curb with a truck and lifting platform is possible, as is professional commissioning and assembly on site – on request and throughout Germany.
